Air Blower for Automotive Sensor Cleaning Systems

Overview

Autonomous vehicles typically use nearly 30 sensors. Dust easily accumulates on sensor surfaces, and rainwater further contaminates them, severely impacting sensing results. Therefore, a sensor cleaning system is essential.

Solutions

Currently, there are two main cleaning solutions. One is using a high-pressure blower for airflow cleaning. This blower generates high-pressure airflow to directly clean the sensor surface. The other is using a high-pressure pump for water cleaning. This pump generates high-pressure water, sometimes reaching 1 MPa.

Relevant Products

Our company manufactures both types of high-pressure blowers and offers blowers in different sizes to meet the needs of different vehicle models. Our small high-pressure blower is 50mm in size and can provide sufficient cleaning airflow for 2-6 sensors. Our large blower is 80mm in size and can provide sufficient cleaning airflow for all sensors.

1. The blower must be waterproof, with a protection rating of IP68.

2. The operating voltage must be 12V, 9-16V is preferred.

3. Must operate normally in an environment ranging from -40°C to 85°C.

4. Integrated drivers are ideal.

5. Components should be AEC-Q100 certified.
