Manufacturing method of miniature ultra-thin DC small fan
The minimum size cooling fan currently achievable in the industry is 9*9*3mm, with a diameter of 9mm and thickness of 3mm. The planar motor structure has become the preferred solution for ultra-thin fans.
1. First, select a Hall sensor
Our company has chosen the MLX90411 model from Melexis in the United States, with a size of 3*1.2mm, meeting the small size requirement.
2. Select a suitable stator winding
Traditional cooling fans use enameled wire windings on silicon steel sheets, which are not suitable for ultra-thin DC small.

3. Select a suitable plastic shell material
Due to the small product size and high requirements for plastic material strength, we have chosen LCP as the fan shell material.
4. Select a magnet as the rotor moving part
Our company uses ultra-thin neodymium iron boron (NdFeB) material as the rotor magnet. The high magnetic properties of NdFeB can significantly reduce the motor current.
